Before the Myth

Tales From the Deep Past of Ireland

They were not written. They were kept. Kept in bone and stone, in the alignments that do not lie, in a handful of names too old to be replaced. Stories carried out of the deep past of an island on the western edge of the world, from the age of ice to the age of bronze, each held by an animal that watches and does not forget. A teller feeds a fire, and begins.

This is where Eternal Tales® begins: Ireland’s mythology restored, and carried back to the ground it came from.

How ordering works

Ordering happens through Payhip, our checkout partner, which takes payment securely by card or PayPal. Your copy is printed to order and posted, with tracked post offered at checkout.

A paperback is printed when you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your copy is printed for you and posted when it is bound, which takes a few days longer than a book off a shelf.

You may change your mind. You can cancel for any reason from the moment you order until fourteen days after your book arrives. Write to info@eternaltales.ie and we will refund the price of the book and the standard delivery you paid.

The Collector’s Edition is fifty copies, and fifty is all there will be of this edition. Each copy is signed and numbered by the author, and posted by hand from Northern Ireland, with the postage included within Ireland and the UK. The digital edition of the book comes with every copy.

On printing, and an open invitation. The book is printed to order in Peterborough and posted from there, which is why delivery into Ireland costs more than any of us would like. We are looking for a printer on this island who can produce these editions to the same standard, and we would rather the books were made here. If that is you, or you know the person it should be, write to info@eternaltales.ie.

The full terms, including who pays return postage and what happens if a book arrives damaged, are on the delivery and refunds page.
